The Laowa D-Dreamer 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D is an ultra-wide rectilinear full-frame lens engineered for Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, offering an expansive 122° angle of view ideal for landscape, architecture, interior, and astrophotography.
Zero-D Optical Correction
Designed with Zero-D optical technology, the lens achieves a close-to-zero optical distortion rate at infinity, keeping straight architectural lines intact. The optical structure consists of 16 elements in 10 groups, incorporating 3 Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) elements and 2 aspherical elements to maintain corner-to-corner sharpness even at f/2.8.
Handling and Close Focus
A floating optical design allows clear imaging down to an 18 cm minimum focusing distance with 1:5 (0.2x) magnification. The front element features Laowa's Water & Dust Repelling Frog Eye Coating (FEC) to help protect against environmental moisture and dirt during field work.
