The AstrHori MF 9 mm f/2.8 APS-C is a manual ultra-wide-angle prime lens designed for mirrorless cameras with a Sony E mount. It delivers a broad 111.4° field of view while preserving straight lines and minimal barrel distortion without a fisheye effect.
Optical Design and Fast Aperture
Its optical structure consists of 11 elements in 8 groups, including 2 aspherical elements that curb spherical aberrations and maintain edge-to-edge sharpness. The f/2.8 maximum aperture facilitates shooting in low-light environments, while the 7-blade diaphragm produces a 14-point star effect on pinpoint light sources.
Build and Versatility
Engineered with a vintage-style all-metal exterior and an integrated lens hood, the lens offers a close focusing distance of 20 cm from the front element for dynamic foreground perspectives.
- Compatible with Sony E mount APS-C sensor cameras
- Manual focus and aperture range from f/2.8 to f/16
- Compact profile weighing 306.5 g for everyday carry
