The AstrHori AF 27 mm f/2.8 APS-C for Sony E is a compact and lightweight prime lens designed for APS-C cameras. Offering a field of view equivalent to approximately 40 mm on full frame, it delivers a natural perspective close to human vision, making it suitable for street photography, portraits, travel, and video recording.
Fast and Quiet STM Autofocus
Equipped with an STM stepping motor, the lens delivers fast, smooth, and quiet focusing. Its internal focusing design ensures the lens barrel does not change length during operation, making it convenient to use on gimbals and camera rigs. It fully supports camera Eye AF and face tracking algorithms to keep moving subjects in focus.
Optical Design and Video-Friendly Features
The optical structure comprises 6 elements in 5 groups with a 6-blade aperture, creating smooth background blur at f/2.8. The aperture mechanism operates without audible clicks, preventing mechanical noise from interfering with video audio tracks. A minimum focusing distance of 0.3 m allows for detailed close-up shooting.
