Quiet and Responsive Autofocus
Driven by an STM stepping motor, the autofocus operates quickly and quietly. The lens fully supports camera eye autofocus and face tracking features, while its internal focusing design maintains a constant overall length during operation.
Aperture and Optical Performance
The optical formula consists of 6 elements arranged in 5 groups, delivering clear detail across the frame. A 6-blade aperture with a maximum f/2.8 opening provides pleasing background separation. The clickless aperture ring allows silent exposure adjustments while recording video.
