Low-profile cable routing
At just 1.47 mm thick, the flat cable can be routed under carpets, along skirting boards and around doorframes without cutting channels into walls. Its flexible design also makes it easier to route behind furniture and alongside other cables.
Conductors and connectors
The cable has 8 conductors arranged in twisted pairs, using 32AWG aluminium-clad oxygen-free copper. The twisted pairs help reduce electromagnetic interference. The contacts have 24K gold plating to resist corrosion, while a soft-touch latch helps protect the locking spring during connection and disconnection. A double-layer PVC sheath makes the cable suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
