Choose countryThe Berdsen BD-711 is a 1.7 l electric kettle made from smoked borosilicate glass. Select a water temperature for different drinks and check the current temperature on its display.
Temperature selection and keep-warm function
The touch panel offers 40, 55, 80, 90 and 100 °C settings. The keep-warm function maintains 40, 55, 80 or 90 °C for up to 2 hours. Blue illumination comes on during boiling, with a stated boiling time of 2–5 minutes.
Everyday handling and cleaning
- 360° swivel base: place the kettle at any angle for right- or left-handed use.
- Cable storage: the base has space to wind excess cable and non-slip feet.
- Cleaning access: a removable chrome-plated lid and smooth glass interior make cleaning easier.
Construction and protection
The kettle switches off automatically after boiling and includes boil-dry protection. It uses Strix control components and connectors, with SUS 304 stainless steel and plastic parts alongside the glass body. The kettle is BPA-free.

Can it keep water at 100 °C?
100 °C is available as a heating setting. The keep-warm function runs for up to 2 hours at 40, 55, 80 or 90 °C.
Can the lid be removed for cleaning?
Yes. The chrome-plated lid is removable to provide access to the smooth glass interior.
