Installation Guide

Tools useful for installation include a surface degreaser, scissors, a hairdryer, and a squeegee (not included). If you use a heat gun or hairdryer, remember to maintain a safe distance, as excessive heat can damage the adhesive.

1. Prepare the Film: Use the grid lines on the backing paper to cut the right-sized piece with scissors. It's a good idea to leave an extra 2-3 cm to wrap the film around the edges of the element.

2. Prepare the Surface: Thoroughly degrease and wipe down the area where the film will be applied. It must be clean and dry.

3. Install the Film: Apply the film by gradually peeling off the backing paper. For flat surfaces, use a squeegee to press it down. When you encounter curved shapes or irregularities, heat the film with a hairdryer. It will become pliable, allowing you to mould it to the surface with a little patience and precision.

4. Eliminate Bubbles: The channel adhesive minimises the risk of air bubbles. However, if any appear, smooth the film from the centre outwards using a squeegee.

5. After installation, the film does not require heat setting.

The film is primarily recommended for indoor use but can also be used outdoors.
