The KNIPEX StepCut 95 12 160 is a 160 mm cable shear engineered to deliver clean cuts without crushing or deforming the cable.
Cutting Performance and Construction
Constructed from steel with a burnished finish, these shears feature induction-hardened cutting edges with a hardness of approximately 56 HRC. They cut multi-core copper cables up to 50 mm² or 15 mm in diameter, as well as solid copper and aluminium cables up to 5 x 4 mm.
Comfort and User Safety
Fitted with ergonomic multi-component grips, the shears provide a secure hold and include an integrated pinch guard to protect fingers during use. This tool is not suitable for steel wire or hard-drawn copper conductors.
