The Metabo BS 18 L BL is an 18 V cordless drill driver for drilling and screwdriving. This set includes two 2 Ah batteries, a charger, a plastic case and a 74-piece accessory set.
Drilling and screwdriving control
A brushless motor and 2 gears provide no-load speeds of 0–500 and 0–1700 rpm. Maximum hard torque is 65 Nm, with adjustable torque from 0.5–9 Nm. Drilling capacity is up to 13 mm in steel and 40 mm in softwood. The keyless chuck accepts shanks from 1.5–13 mm.
Handling and equipment
- Compact design: supports handling in tight spaces and overhead, with a weight of 0.9 kg without the battery.
- Work light: integrated LED lighting with an afterglow function.
- Protection: overload protection helps prevent motor overheating; the gear housing is made from die-cast aluminium.
- Accessory storage: the belt hook and bit holder can be mounted on either side.
The drill driver works with all 18 V battery packs and chargers from CAS brands. Electronic speed stabilisation is also included.
