Drilling and control
A brushless motor drives the 2-speed all-metal gearbox, with no-load speeds of 0–500 / 2000 min⁻¹ and a maximum torque of 54 Nm. There are 21 torque settings plus a drilling setting.
- Drilling capacity: up to 38 mm in wood, 13 mm in steel and 13 mm in concrete.
- Keyless chuck: accommodates a clamping range of 1.5–13 mm.
- Work light: an LED illuminates the working area.
- Electronic functions: speed stabilisation and an electric brake.
Contents and power
The package includes the tool, a double-sided cross/slotted bit, a belt clip and a keyless drill chuck. A Makita LXT 18 V lithium-ion battery is required for operation. The battery and charger are not included.
