The Makita DDF485RFJ is an 18 V LXT cordless drill driver for drilling and screwdriving in wood and metal. This kit includes 2 × 3.0 Ah batteries, a DC18RC charger and a MAKPAC transport case.
Control for drilling and screwdriving
A brushless motor drives a 2-speed planetary gearbox with metal gears. No-load speeds of 0–500 / 0–1 900 rpm let you adapt the tool to the task, with hard/soft torque rated at 50 / 27 Nm.
- Torque selection: 21 settings plus a separate drilling mode.
- Bit changes: a keyless chuck with a 1.5–13 mm clamping range.
- Operation: electronic speed control, an electric brake and forward/reverse rotation.
- Lighting: twin LEDs with pre-glow and afterglow illuminate the work area.
Construction and equipment
The housing has dust and splash water protection. Its compact design and ergonomic handle support comfortable handling. A double-ended bit is also supplied in the kit.
