Safe use
Connect only to a properly earthed 220–240 V socket. Connect the cord to the appliance before plugging it into the wall; set all switches to OFF before unplugging. Any extension lead must be three-core and earthed, with an electrical rating at least equal to that of the appliance.
The oven, glass, handles and controls become hot and remain hot after use. Wear oven gloves when opening the lid and beware of escaping steam. Never leave the oven unattended, and use it out of children's reach. Keep liquids away from the lid and glass, as they may damage the glass.
Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in liquid, or use a damaged appliance or cord. Keep it away from hot burners and out of a heated oven; do not let the cord hang over a worktop edge or touch hot surfaces. Unplug when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool completely, then remove food residue and crumbs after each use to reduce fire risk. Do not clean with a metal spatula: loose metal fragments could cause electric shock.
