Brewing and everyday handling
The 480 W pot uses ground coffee, with an approximate brewing time of 4–5 minutes. A transparent lid lets you watch the brewing process without opening it.

Important before switching on
There is no protection against operation without water. Always check that the lower chamber is correctly filled before switching on, keeping the water below the safety valve. Do not tamp the ground coffee in the filter. Screw the pot together securely before heating. Hold the body, not the handle, when screwing or unscrewing the sections to avoid damaging the handle.

Does the moka pot need a hob?
No. It brews using the included electric base with power cord, connected to a 220–240 V mains supply.
Does it switch off if the water runs out?
No. It has no protection against operation without water. Always check that the lower chamber is correctly filled before switching on.
