The Newell Smart C8 is a universal, eight-channel charger compatible with most commercially available cylindrical batteries. It features an LCD display that shows voltage, amperage, charge time, internal resistance, and the charge status of the cell.
Smart Charging and Safety
The charger automatically sets the optimal charging current, but it can also be set manually. The device automatically recognizes Li-ion 4.2 V and NiMH/NiCd 1.48 V batteries. It offers protection against incorrect battery insertion, short-circuiting, and overcharging.

Which batteries are compatible with this charger?
It is compatible with various Ni-MH/Ni-Cd (A, AA, AAA, AAAA, C) and Li-ion/LiFePO4 batteries, including 18650, 21700, and 26650.
Does the charger automatically recognize all batteries?
It automatically recognizes Li-ion 4.2 V and NiMH/NiCd 1.48 V. The type for LiFEP04 and Li-ion 4.35 V batteries must be entered manually.
