Choose countryThe Bosch GKE 18V-40 cordless chainsaw cuts wood, beams and thicker branches without a mains connection. This kit includes an EXBA18V-55 battery and a GAL 12V/18V-30 fast charger.
Drive and cutting control
The brushless motor reduces maintenance requirements, while OptiCut automatically adjusts speed and torque to the cutting conditions to help prevent stalling under load. A 40 cm bar and 12.4 m/s chain speed support work on construction timber and thicker branches.
- Electronic motor brake: stops the chain when the switch is released.
- Metal claw stop: supports controlled guidance during sawing.
- Oil level checks: the transparent, leak-proof tank lets you see the oil level.
- Chain tensioning: the key is stored directly on the tool.
Battery system and contents
The saw is compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V system and the AMPShare battery alliance. A battery capacity of at least 5.5 Ah is recommended. A chain cover and key are also included.
