How to measure blood pressure correctly?
- Sit comfortably with your back supported and arms resting on a table or armrest.
- Avoid caffeine and smoking for 30 minutes before measurement.
- Take measurements daily at the same time.
- Repeat each measurement three times and calculate the average.
- Wait one minute between measurements.
- Record your results regularly.
How to interpret your results?
Normal blood pressure: 100–139/60–89 mmHg; ideal: 120/80 mmHg.
