The SwitchBot Motion Sensor allows you to enjoy a cozy atmosphere as soon as you enter your home. If you place it near the entrance, it will automatically turn on lights, humidifiers, fans, air conditioning, or other smart devices. If you place it under the bed, in the hallway, near the bathroom entrance, or in the kitchen, it will automatically turn on the lights when you get out of bed at night to go to the kitchen or bathroom. This enhances your sense of security and comfort in the dark.

Security Concerns

By using the SwitchBot Motion Sensor in conjunction with the SwitchBot Hub Mini and SwitchBot Indoor Cam, you can create a surveillance and monitoring system in your home. It is recommended to place the sensor at the entrance or in any location where a break-in attempt might occur. Meanwhile, the SwitchBot Indoor Cam, mounted on the ceiling or a high place, monitors the target area. When the sensor detects motion, the SwitchBot Indoor Cam will automatically activate and start recording.

The SwitchBot Motion Sensor is equipped with an advanced PIR sensor to detect human motion up to 9 meters away and a light sensor to determine whether human activity is occurring during the day or night. Its range is 110° horizontally and 55° vertically. This ensures precise operation and adapts to lighting conditions. Worried about false alarms? Practical Notifications

When the SwitchBot Motion Sensor detects motion or changes in brightness, you will receive appropriate notifications. This allows you to conveniently check what's happening in your home – all you need is a smartphone with the installed app. Additionally, all events detected by the device will be recorded and synchronized with your phone.
